The deputy of the Democratic Party, Agron Gjekmarkaj, spoke about the defeat of the opposition in Kukës.
He said that for him the result of May 14 remains more of a problem than the last one in Kukës. Gjekmarkaj added that the chaotic situation in which the opposition has been for 2 years is what has left people indifferent in the battle for Kukës.
Gjekmarkaj emphasized that if it is reflected, in 2025 the opposition will go to the elections in this state, which is not inspiring.
"I know one thing from the anthropology of elections in Albania these 33 years, that the local partial elections have been won by the government. This is not news, May 14 was more disturbing for me.

Gjekmarkaj added that everyone who is in the opposition should explore every possibility to find the formula that leads the opposition to victory. The deputy indicated that a new leadership should be chosen, to be of the present and tomorrow, which should surpass Berisha.
