Arlind Qori, the leader of the "Lëvizja Bashkë" movement, invited to the show "Të Paekspozuarit" on MCN TV, talking about the arrest of Erion Veliaj and Prime Minister Rama's reactions to SPAK, said that he gave the message to his people that he has not let everyone go. Qori said that Rama has also begun to be afraid of SPAK.
"The first reason is political, to send the message to my people that I have not released everyone, you will not all end up in prison one after the other, that I am still here, despite the fact that the evidence came out that Erion Veliaj could not be defended and this is an indicator of Rama's political weakness.
For a corrupt politician, weakness, the image of weakness, is more serious than corruption, because everyone knows that Edi Rama is corrupt. They have known it since he was mayor. Today it seemed that Edi Rama is weak. Second, when he spoke about his cell phone, in my interpretation, he is also afraid for himself, because he gets a call that Mr. Rama has an accusation against you.
Now, Mr. Rama cannot be arrested without a vote in parliament, but still, if he tells him to come over and hand over his cell phone, this means that the Albanian institutional framework will also be put in crisis. We do not have a state of law, where institutions respond to the law, not to orders.
"My fear is that the matter is going to Rama, Rama will arrest prosecutors who can go to the prime minister rather than vice versa, and this is a very big problem for the constitutional order in Albania, and he warned prosecutors and judges not to try it, as this could go wrong," said Qori.
Qori also spoke about the messages that Rama and Berisha are sending with their statements against SPAK.
"What does a mafia organization have in common with a corrupt political organization? What message is Rama giving, that the general has either sold you out or is weak, so either he cannot protect you and or he will sell you out. Therefore, Rama must do whatever it takes to give the message that I am here. Second, Rama may be afraid himself, he mentioned his cell phone. Why is he afraid?
"Berisha says he will dissolve SPAK, but Rama says either give the decisions we want, or it is not justice, they are two different languages, but they have the same goal," said Qori.
