The police reacted to the heavy traffic in the country due to the rain. Police ask drivers to be careful by slowing down and maintaining a safe distance. It has also shown the most problematic axes.

Due to the situation created by the bad weather, the State Police has been on standby throughout the country, to help drivers and citizens in case of need for help, and to manage road traffic.
In the DPPSH and in every Local Police Directorate, steering groups have been set up and have been put on standby.
The State Police appeals to drivers to moderate their speed and maintain a safe distance with other vehicles on the road.
The areas with the highest risk are:
• Lezha, urban roads and connecting interurban roads;
• Fushë Krujë, roads in the urban area and interurban connecting roads;
• Tirana, urban and interurban roads;
• Durrës. urban roads and interurban roads connecting Tirana and the rest of the south;
• Elbasan, roads in the urban area and connecting interurban roads.
Also, the State Police appeals to citizens not to stay in unsafe places, since due to rain and wind, trees may fall or strong objects may fall from heights.
