The American Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina has called the threat of the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik to the high representative Christian Schmidt unconstitutional and a deliberate attack on the Dayton Peace Agreement.
Through a reaction on the "X" platform, the embassy added that Dodik's reckless threats and ridiculous claims about the status and authority of the High Representative are unacceptable and represent another step on the dangerous path he has chosen.
Further, in the reaction, it was said that other steps will be taken to isolate the head of Republika Srpska, who has been declared non-grata by America.
" Milorad Dodik's threat to prevent the High Representative from entering the entity of Republika Srpska of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and to limit his freedom of movement is unconstitutional. This represents another deliberate attack by Mr. Dodik on the Dayton Peace Agreement, the constitutional order of BiH and the State of BiH.
The High Representative is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the civilian aspects of the Dayton Peace Agreement, which obligates officials to cooperate with him, and he enjoys diplomatic status throughout BiH under the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations. Mr. Dodik's reckless threats and ridiculous claims about the status and authority of the High Representative are unacceptable and represent another step on the dangerous path he has chosen - the path of isolation ," the US embassy wrote.

This represents yet another deliberate attack by Mr. Dodik on the Dayton Peace Agreement,...
We recall that yesterday Dodik said that he would stop Christian Schmidt from entering Republika Srpska, as he added that he is preparing a decree for his arrest and deportation.
