Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said during his speech at the Palace of Serbia that it is not true that he called Russian President Vladimir Putin three times and that he did not answer.
While emphasizing that traditionally there are good relations with the Russian Federation, Vucic declared that this incident did not happen.
He challenged the whistleblowers, saying that if they produced proof that Putin had rejected the phone call, he would resign.
" I may be a madman, a fag, a sick person, a monkey, a warrior, a war criminal, but they are proven liars. They don't even hurt me.
They lie as they lied about Jovanjica. Let them say through whom I wanted to talk to President Putin and if he has refused, I will no longer be president ," he said.
