At the end of the press conference that Inter president Beppe Marotta held after the shareholders' meeting and the new additions to the club's board of directors, there was a moment of trepidation. In fact, the protagonist was Filippo Roma, historical correspondent of the "Le Iene" program, who asked the black and blue leader a question about Amedeo Karasai, an entrepreneur who - as announced before the press conference - left the Inter board of directors where he had held the position of advisor.
The accusation by “Le Iene” is related to Karasai’s alleged involvement with “Microgame”, a Benevento-based company and “Italian leader in the online betting sector”, as can be read on their official website, and then in recent years a provider of casino and betting services. This role was pointed out by Filpo Roma, as Karasai was an advisor to the reigning Italian champion club.

Serie A regulations do not allow club employees to have direct or indirect links with betting companies, so consequently Karasai should never have been employed at Inter, let alone held a position for years.
The coincidence with which Mr. Karasai left the black and blue club before this news came out is suspicious, however, there is still no document certifying Karasai's delegation in Inter's affairs and this individual does not even appear on the list of employees of the federated clubs near the Serie A League office. Meanwhile, when asked about this issue, president Beppe Marota stated: "I am somewhat unprepared for this question, I will not add anything else."
