Igli Tare is the favorite to take over the position of Milan's sporting director.

But Italian journalist Alfredo Pedula has come out against this move. According to him, Tare is not at a high enough level to be part of Milan as sporting director.
Pedula also highlights that Tara's good work at Lazio was only short-lived, as in recent years his strikes left much to be desired.

Fabian's merits? From 1-10 he deserves 11. He is the "poor twin" of a "great director" like Igli Tare who in the last four years has only created disasters ," writes Pedula.
