The 47th citizen protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office building continued with speeches by citizens and activists, who reiterated their demands for political change and an investigation into the affairs that have accompanied the government.
One of the protesters focused on the issue of the law on protected areas, stating that the European Union has also taken the same stance as the protesters.
"The EU has come out publicly and asked the government what we have asked, the cancellation of the law on protected areas! We also ask SPAK to continue the investigations, if it has started the investigations, not to stop them until Edi Rama is brought to justice!" , he said.
During his speech, the protester also raised questions about the Prime Minister's responsibility for the affairs involving former government officials. The protester also called on the Special Prosecution Office to not stop at other officials, but to also lead to the arrest of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
"How is it possible that a prime minister who has many ministers accused and some in prison, is not considered a defendant?! Is it possible that all these affairs of this government over the years have happened without the knowledge of the prime minister? Why is he called prime minister, he runs them!", declared the protester.
The speech was received with applause from the participants in the rally, while the protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office continued with other calls and demands addressed to the government and justice institutions.
