The debate about the citizen protest and amendments to the law on protected areas caused a clash between analyst Andi Tela and the secretary of the Socialist Party, Blendi Klosi.
On the show "The Unexposed", Tela accused the majority of relativizing the protest and not understanding the message that, according to him, citizens have been giving for weeks.
According to the analyst, the protest is not a political movement, but a revolt against the way the country has been governed over the last 36 years.
Another point of debate was the issue of amendments to the law on protected areas. Tela said that the European Commission has requested their repeal, while Klosi responded that the law was drafted with European expertise and that any changes will be coordinated with the European Union.
Klosi also claimed that a large portion of negative comments on social networks do not come from real users, but from automated accounts.

Andi Tela: You said that the people are smart, but you are not respecting the smartness of the people. You are being hypocritical and relativizing the protest. Society has come out, they say 'Rama in prison, Berisha in prison'. Society has come out that has seen how this country has been managed for 36 years. You read it wrong, as if it is a political group. You have hypocritical behavior in relation to the protest.
Andi Tela: They have specific demands, for Rama's resignation and legal or constitutional changes. From day one, you have treated the protesters as people driven by algorithms, agencies... You don't read it as a civic protest against the political elite for the way it has managed the country in these 36 years.
Andi Tela: The most important point, two days ago, the protest started for the protected areas, but the EC has demanded that an agreement be reached to repeal the amendments to the 2024 law on protected areas. Ms. Kos said, we agreed that the amendments should be repealed. Rama said we did not agree, that the law is good. This is not a reflection.
Blendi Klosi: "The evidence was there and was evidenced. I'm trying to find out, if you were to release a reel, how many comments it would get, release one now and see how many hundreds of negative comments are entered."
Andi Tela: This shows that there are many more people, not just in the square.
Blendi Klosi: Open the commenters, if you find more than 3-4% real people, most are robots paid by domestic or foreign financial sources. Do this live now. Robots are paid with criminal money. Take it and make it news.
The debate also continued on amendments to the law on protected areas.
Blendi Klosi: The law on protected areas was built with European expertise. Even the amendments, which came as a request from municipalities in 2024, will be discussed and agreed upon with European partners.
Andi Tela: We are talking about this point, construction in protected areas. The EC wants the amendment to be repealed. Will you allow it or not?
Blendi Klosi: Every law will be harmonized with the EU and here we are.
