A 77-year-old man crashed to death in Velipoja. According to Shkodra police, the accident happened this Sunday morning, where the driver of a car hit the elderly man who was riding a bicycle.

"Around 10:15, in Velipoja, it is suspected that the vehicle driven by the UK citizen crashed the KU citizen, about 77 years old, (who was riding a bicycle), who as a result lost his life.

The driver of the vehicle, a UK citizen, was escorted to the police station for further action.

The investigative group is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident," the Police announcement states.
