The perpetrator of the Elbasan attack is suspected of using a silicone mask, wig and gloves to hide his identity, while preliminary investigations have raised suspicions that the target of the attack was Kastriot Kila's nephew, known as "Ot Kila".
New details have emerged from the assassination attempt that occurred in Elbasan, where Armando Tomorrica, Renaldo Mançe and Biorgi Hoxha were injured . According to investigative sources, the target of the attack is suspected to have been Kastriot Kilë's nephew, known as "Ot Kila".
According to journalist Klodiana Lala, the suspected perpetrator had taken measures to avoid being identified. He was disguised with a silicone mask and a long-haired wig, while wearing black clothes, a dark sweatshirt and gloves.
Investigators suspect that the attack was carefully organized to avoid leaving traces. Currently, the investigative team is analyzing security camera footage and evidence seized at the scene, with the aim of identifying the perpetrator and fully clarifying the dynamics of the event.
According to sources, the main investigation leads to previous conflicts and clashes between criminal groups. So far, the Police have not issued an official statement on the identity of the perpetrator or the motive for the attack.
Kastriot Kila, known as "Ot Kila", is a name known to the authorities and has been mentioned in criminal conflicts in Elbasan for years. He is considered an opponent of Suel Çela, who, according to investigative files, is suspected of having ordered several assassinations against him. Bledar Muça, known as a person close to the Çapja group, who after escaping two assassination attempts in Elbasan, was executed in Belgium in 2022, was also mentioned in the same conflict.
The justice files also mention a suspected assassination attempt on Elton Kilë, for which Nuredin Dumani was hired as a hired killer. This assassination attempt was not carried out, as Dumani was injured near Cërrik and was later arrested, receiving the status of a collaborator of justice.
How did the incident happen?
According to preliminary investigations, Armando Tomorrica and Renaldo Mançe were sitting on the veranda of a bar, together with the waiter Biorgi Hoxha. At one point, the perpetrator approached the table and, according to witnesses, initially verbally abused them. He then pulled out his firearm and shot them several times, leaving all three injured.
During the examination of the scene, the Scientific Police experts seized 6 shell casings, which will undergo ballistic examinations. The injured received first aid at the Elbasan Regional Hospital, while investigations continue to identify the perpetrator and fully clarify the circumstances of the assassination.
