A 24-year-old man from Devolli was arrested for domestic violence and illegal possession of a weapon.
According to the police, Flori Hoxha is suspected of having abused his wife, and after a search of their apartment in the village of Tren, a shotgun was also found, which he was carrying without a permit.
It was the 19-year-old who reported her husband's violence to the police, intervening immediately and avoiding the escalation of violence.
The young man is charged with the criminal offenses of "Domestic Violence" and "Unlicensed Production and Possession of Hunting and Sporting Weapons."
"As a result of the immediate administration of the complaint by a 19-year-old woman that her husband had raped her, the services of the Devoll Police Commissariat prevented the escalation of violence, by catching the perpetrator in flagrante delicto and arresting him, citizen FH, 24 years old, resident of the village of Tren.
Following police actions, during the search of this citizen's apartment, the following was found and seized as material evidence:
1 shotgun, held without a permit;
a necklace with several cartridges from this weapon.
The procedural materials were referred to the Korça Prosecutor's Office, for the criminal offenses of "Domestic Violence" and "Unlicensed Production and Possession of Hunting and Sporting Weapons," the Police announced.
