The Police Supervision Agency (Elbasan - Korçë Region) has executed the decision of the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Elbasan, which has imposed personal security measures of a prohibitive nature "Prohibition of leaving the country" and "Obligation to report to the Judicial Police" against a police officer and a citizen suspected of committing the criminal offense "Actions that impede the discovery of the truth".
This is Edison Pemaj, serving as a Service Trooper/General Patrol Officer at Police Station No. 4 in Tirana, who is suspected of attempting to hide material evidence at the time of his brother's arrest.
"Following the in-depth investigations within the framework of the "Last rent" operation, there are suspicions that the police officer, in collaboration with the aforementioned citizen, attempted to conceal material evidence related to the detention on 05.07.2025 of police officer EP, (brother of officer EP) suspected of the criminal offense of "Coercion by threat or violence for the release of property"", the AMP statement states.
