The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has shared details from his visit to Strasbourg.
During a statement to the media at the blue headquarters, Berisha said that the days of his stay in Strasbourg were used to denounce, through facts and documents, the dramatic situation in Albania, describing the country as a "narco-state" and under an "authoritarian dictatorship."
Berisha also said that in meetings with the European People's Party Parliamentary Group and during the plenary sessions of the Parliamentary Assembly, the danger that, according to him, the Albanian government led by Prime Minister Rama poses not only to Albanian citizens, but also to the whole of Europe, was presented.
"I returned last night after a stay as a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and an intense activity in the temple of European democracy.
The days spent in Strasbourg were used for the strongest possible condemnation, for the presentation of facts and documents on the dramatic situation in Albania's narco-state.
Authoritarian dictatorship in Albania!
In the parliamentary group of the People's Party, in the plenary sessions of the Parliamentary Assembly, as you may have followed, we presented the great danger that the criminal organization of the Albanian government, headed by Edi Rama, poses not only to Albanians, but to all of Europe.
We informed and warned those present that Edi Rama poses a major danger to their countries as he is today the godfather of the most powerful drug cartels in Europe, which export to Europe, occupy first place in the export of marijuana to Europe, and are the main shareholders in the cocaine and heroin market.
They are the main transporters of drugs from Latin America to the ports of the European continent and have all the ports of Albania as free ports.
"We reported on hundreds and hundreds of permits, hotels, tourist resorts, corruption and drug dens given after the May 11 elections by Edi Rama as a reward for their broad participation in the elections," he said.
