Jennifer Lopez, the upcoming host of the American Music Awards (AMAs), suffered a painful injury after an accident during rehearsals before the May 26 night at the BleauLive Theater in Las Vegas.
Sharing details of her accident with fans via Instagram Stories, she posted photos documenting the aftermath of a serious injury she suffered, showing a visible cut on the bridge of her nose, which looked quite painful.
"So...this happened," Lopez wrote, appearing to take the accident in stride, despite it happening just under two weeks before the big night at the AMAs.
In another Instagram story, the singer and actress showed herself treating the wound and assured her followers that she was healing well.
The 2024 American Music Awards will be a momentous occasion for the mother of two, marking her return to the stage as a presenter for the first time in nearly a decade; she last hosted the ceremony in 2015.
