The Special Prosecution Office has presented new evidence in the process against former Minister of Health, Ilir Beqaj, and co-defendants in the "SASPAC" file.
In today's preliminary hearing, prosecutors filed an envelope with new evidence, which consists of several Excel spreadsheets, considered to be data of interest to SPAK, extracted from the examination of the laptop of defendant Aldred Nikolla.
In this case, Beqaj is accused of several criminal offenses, including "corruption", "violation of equality in tenders" and "fraud", committed while he was heading SASPAC, a state agency that managed EU funds in Albania. He is also co-defendant with 10 other people.
