The Special Court Against Corruption and Organized Crime is continuing its review of the "Meta" faction of the case, while the Special Prosecution is presenting its final conclusions for the defendants in this process.
During the hearing, the trial panel decided not to accept the request of Fatime Kryemadhi, who had requested to waive the summary trial procedure and for the case against her to be joined with the trial involving defendants Ilir Meta and Monika Kryemadhi.
In this faction of the file, defendants Fatime Kryemadhi, Ema Çoku and Pirro Xhixho are being tried under the abbreviated procedure.
According to the indictment, Fatime Kryemadhi and Ema Çoku have been charged with the criminal offense of money laundering, while Pirro Xhixho is accused of corruption.
Following the Court's decision to dismiss Fatime Kryemadhi's request, the legal process continues with the presentation of final conclusions by SPAK.
