Rain and snow that fell with high intensity have created problems in the district of Kukës.
In some road segments on the national axes, stones have fallen, creating difficulties in the normal circulation of vehicles in some road segments.
The snowfall in Kukës has reached a height of over 800 meters. There is no electricity in the villages: Dragobi, Valbonë, Nj Adm Margegaj, Tropoje Municipality. Nj Adm, Kolsh and Surroj, Kukës Municipality.
"The situation in Kukës County until 08:00 on 07.12.2024 is as follows:
The entire territory of the Kuka District during the night until the early hours of the morning is covered by rain with medium intensity and snowfall at an altitude above 800 m.
• As a result of these weather conditions, all national road axes continue to be under the pressure of falling stones, inerts and snow, creating difficulties in the normal circulation of vehicles in some road segments.
The contracting entities have been working all the time with all the capacities to keep them functional.
At present, all national road axes are normally trafficable.
• From the municipalities of Kukës, Tropoja and Has, we have no reports of any emergency issues.
• The entire Kukës District is normally supplied with electricity, except for the villages of Dragobi, Valbonë, Nj Adm Margegaj, Tropojë Municipality. Nj Adm, Kolsh and Surroj, Kukës Municipality.
"Drinking water supply is done according to the schedules determined by DRUK Kukës" , announced ARRSH.
