Confidence in the Special Prosecutor's Office drops significantly. On December 20, 2019, it seemed that a very important step was taken in the fight against corruption, since on this date SPAK was formed, the prosecutor who was said to investigate anyone, from the director of the administration, to the president and the prime minister. More than 3 years have passed since this body was created, but the only persons arrested are Lefter Koka and Alqi Blako.
Adriatik Llalla was sentenced to prison, but was allowed to escape. Tahir's conviction is not the merit of SPAK because the file was from the Serious Crimes file. Meanwhile, in 3 years, SPAK has dealt only with police officers, directorates, etc. He has opened investigations for some files that are called sensational, but those who are described as hyenas of corruption are free and there is no proceeding. Rama, Meta and Berisha are inviolable, while the same goes for MPs and ministers.
This scenario has caused citizens to no longer trust this body at all, although prosecutors receive super high salaries and do what they did when they were in Serious Crimes: "They warm themselves in the sun".
A day ago "Pamphlet" opened a survey with this question: "How satisfied are you with the results achieved so far by SPAK?" So far, 888 people have taken part in this survey and it turns out that 67 percent of them are not at all satisfied with the work of SPAK, while 17 percent are a little satisfied. Only 10 percent are satisfied with the achievements so far. So it seems to be a shocking poll for SPAK. This body was established to investigate the rulers and eradicate corruption, but so far it has not achieved the goal. The survey seems to show this clearly. / Pamphlet
