The government has launched revenge against the Joint Movement, which protested against the salary increase. The representatives of the party led by Arlind Qori protested today, describing the increase in salaries for MPs as scandalous.
But it didn't take long and immediately the police showed mercy at the headquarters of the Joint Movement.
The news was announced by the activists of this party. "LV" says that this is a desperate attempt to threaten them and shut them up against injustices, but that they will not be afraid.
" Just a few hours after today's action against the scandalous increase in the salaries of MPs and ministers, the State Police forces showed mercy at the headquarters of the TOGETHER Movement. The latter, without any right and without any legal mandate, are trying to arrest our activists. This is a desperate attempt to threaten us to shut up about injustices, but we are not afraid! The right will triumph! Stand in solidarity! ", Lévizja Bashke wrote on Facebook.
During the morning, Lévizja Bashke protested in front of the parliament against the salary increase for the officials. The protesters were holding a "Don't get fed up" placard, while they also threw fake money on the ground.
The head of the party, Arlin Qori, said that the deputy's salary in Albania will be 39 times the minimum pension and 21 times the average pension in the city.
" They do not respect their status or their constituents. We are used to the fact that at the head of institutions there are profoundly ignorant and arrogant people. People who, in a fair society, I don't know if they would find a job, or they would most likely end up in prison for delinquents. Instead of the person in question ending up in prison as a pickpocket, today we have a deputy, we have one of the largest market owners. A man who is not afraid of the law or the reaction of the citizens. They did not take power from the people, but they took it from the people. In democratic countries, MPs study a lot, they are always in parliamentary commissions, they study the experience of other countries. They read books and similar situations ," he said.
But as soon as the session ended, the police showed mercy in the building trying to stop its activists.
