Journalist Eni Ferhati, speaking about the arrest of former president Ilir Meta, revealed details about the confiscation of the cell phone that drowned the former president.
Invited to the show "Now" on Euronews Albania, Ferhati said that the seized phone of Monika Kryemadhi may have provided evidence to make this arrest, as according to the journalist, there may be implicating conversations on this phone.
"About 10 months or a year ago, Monika Kryemadhi had a cell phone seized from her mother's apartment. Throughout this period, this mobile device has been the subject of investigation by the Special Prosecutor's Office. From this mobile device, I have the impression that the Special Prosecutor's Office has provided some clues, also identified through other investigative actions.
We don't know what the investigative files are. But the phone of Mrs. Kryemadhi may have exposed many activities of the Jew in Meta compared to the accusations we have. I forgot another episode, it is in the value of 310 thousand euros where the couple Meta in cooperation with the mother of Mrs. Kryemadhi have bought an apartment in the area of the former block.
SPAK says that it tried to cover as if this property was bought with a bank loan, then this obligation was paid off in cash, in a very short period of time. I have the impression that the strongest omen is Mrs. Kryemadhi's phone, where she can have conversations with the businessman in question or even with Ilir Meta" , said Ferhati.
