The analyst Mentor Kikia, the journalist Endri Xhafo and the former head of the CEC, Kristaq Kume, were invited to "Quo Vadis" yesterday to discuss the political situation in the country.
Yesterday also coincided with the opposition protest, which lasted for about 3 hours. The main demand of the opposition is the creation of a technical government. According to Mr. Kume, the opposition is entering an election race in very difficult conditions.

This puts the opposition in difficult conditions to enter a race, which even if it were not for this history of the last two years, it would be very difficult to cope with the opponent (the majority) which has a lot in hand other instruments. If the analyst Kikia thinks that with the arrest of Ilir Meta and Berisha under house arrest, the opposition is in another political reality. According to him, Berisha and Meta were the pillars of their parties, however he thinks that they also prevented the parties from going to power.
Mentor Kikia: With the arrest of Mr. Meta and the "house arrest" of Berisha, the opposition is in a different political reality. It has two of its leaders imprisoned, and for the sake of truth these are the two people who serve as the backbone of their parties. I believe that if they know how to take the new course, PD and PL will be able to gain another approach in relation to the electorate and in relation to internationals. As much as Berisha and Meta served as pillars of their parties, they were just as much an obstacle to bring these parties to power. The citizens, as much as they may be against a fourth mandate of Edi Rama, would not agree to mandate Berisha to return to power and Meta to return to power. I believe that the Albanians will not have Berisha and Meta on the voting list, no matter how much they continue to lead their parties.
