Journalist Fatos Mahmutaj says that DP leader Sali Berisha is in a personal mess regarding the January 21 issue, and is taking former Interior Minister Lulzim Basha to his defense.
In an interview for "Ora e Fundit", Mahmutaj stated that Berisha is the architect of the 4 murders on the boulevard.
"Berisha is not trying to defend Basha. Berisha has shown that he does not defend anyone. Berisha is in a personal mess. He is trying to protect Basha, so that he does not attack him, so that he does not testify against him. Berisha, being in a mess, is the main defendant in this case, he is the murderer. Basha, I have emphasized, that 1 day earlier, January 20, he stated that there would be acts of violence and that no one would be held responsible.
