Investigative journalist Artan Hoxha, speaking about the tragic accident in Këlcyra where 8 people lost their lives, said that no one talks about the smuggling of illegal immigrants even though Albania has half of the immigrant population. He said that Albania has a continuous history of smuggling, but to avoid such tragedies, Frontex pays its policemen 10,000 euros per month.
