Journalist Artan Hoxha, analyzing the statements made today by the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, said that today an often denounced phenomenon was brought to light, that of cooperation between crime, business and politics.
Invited to the studio of the show "The Unexposed", journalist Artan Hoxha said that for the first time a senior leader of the investigation raises the concern of the involvement of powerful businessmen with organizations at the local level.
According to him, the main problem is that businessmen have access to the police and law enforcement bodies.
" SPAK has a uniqueness. If the prosecutor's offices report to the general prosecutor, SPAK reports to KLP. Therefore today the atmosphere was very exciting. In the report that the head of SPAK held today was the first, Duman asked to be released from the small files. Secondly, he said that we have a lack of judicial police. We should lead the investigation and take the files to court, but we have been forced to return to prosecutors who do the procedures themselves. He said that compared to 2022, state institutions have reduced the number of corruption denunciations. He specified economic crime, which should be the main solution today. Investments in human resources and technology should be focused there. Another element was the fact that there are some investigations that we cannot trust the police. So the institutions do not file complaints. Most of the actions on the ground are done by the police and if what Duman says is true, we have a very big problem.
