Following the closing of the European Political Community Summit, Prime Minister Edi Rama and French President Emmanuel Macron visited the Tirana Pyramid – now transformed into a multifunctional innovation and technology center – on Friday evening. The visit marked the official opening of the French school “Ecole 42” in Albania, a prestigious coding institution with a presence in 31 countries around the world.
" To give the green light to 'Ecole 42', the prestigious French coding school... now also in Albania ," Rama wrote on social media, emphasizing the importance of this initiative for the country's technological development.
In the modern facilities of the Pyramid, Rama and Macron appeared among young people and relevant staff, visiting the spaces where the programmers and digital talents of the new Albanian generation will now be formed.
This move comes as part of efforts to bring Albania closer to European innovation and education standards, and at the same time to consolidate bilateral relations with France beyond the diplomatic level - in concrete areas such as technology and vocational education.
