It only took a few minutes of rain and the whole of Durrës is flooded.
The situation is more problematic at the intersections of neighborhoods 12, 18, 16, 17 and 4 and 5. There has also been more flooding in Shkozet and some secondary roads of the beach and the former swamp.
On the road near the Durrës Water and Sewerage, residents of the area declare that the sewage also exploded.
Urbanist Artan Kacani said that the numerous constructions have caused this situation, where every time it rains, these roads are blocked.
"The situation is serious for the very fact that it is very complex. We are talking about a large amount of hill area which has been covered by more constructions in recent years and there is no proper discharge of waste water, at this point the responsibility falls on the projects of recent years", said the urbanist.
