A 42-year-old man lost his life on Friday evening on the Prrenjas-Librazhd road, after a rock detached from the mountain hit the vehicle he was driving.
According to preliminary data, the incident occurred at around 10:30 PM in the village of Hotolisht. It is suspected that a stone broke off the mountain and fell on a "Benz" type vehicle.
The driver was citizen AH, 42 years old, a resident of the village of Gjergjan, Elbasan. Due to the impact, he lost his life at the scene.
The Police Services and the investigation team have carried out the first actions at the scene and are continuing their work to fully document the circumstances and determine the causes of the accident.
