The former Director General of the State Police, Fadil Canaj, has passed away

 The former General Director of the State Police, Fadil Canaj, passed away today at the age of 72.

In his 40-year career in the State Police, Fadil Canaj has held various positions such as: Durrës Police Chief, Tirana Police Director, General Director, Deputy Minister of the Interior and Chief of Cabinet of several ministers in the years 2000-2005.

It is learned that on Sunday, August 6, 2023, tributes will be paid near the General Directorate from 10-12.
