The tragic event that happened in Shkodër, where a 27-year-old woman tried to commit suicide with her four children in the Buna river, was today part of the show "With an open heart" on News24.
The mother of the girl in question said in an interview in "News24" that she was under great pressure as a result of constant violence from her husband and was in the process of divorce. She also revealed that her son-in-law, in addition to violence, also had a relationship with another woman with whom he also had children. Today, the husband of the woman who tried to drown herself with her children dismissed the accusations of his mother-in-law. He said he was not in the process of divorcing his wife and that her family was interfering.
He added that her family did not want them to be together. Among other things, he said that his wife had tried to kill herself 3 months ago due to problems with her family.
"I was at the police to talk about going to the Bajrami family, which is my wife's family. We have very good relations with him. I ran away to Montenegro for two months for work. She stayed for 2 weeks with a friend. She then threw it on the street. The woman then fled to her parents. They are all inventions, as I am not in the process of divorce. They are slanders of my wife's mother, the justice system proves them all. They don't want to see us well. Her father, we have been married for 9 years, comes between the couple. Neither I nor my wife have seen a good day from them. The mother used to say; run away from there. Let me keep up with 4 children. I told him; what are you saying, I'm married. We met on social networks. But they did not want, they did not agree. The day he came to me, he rode a bicycle to come to my house. Her family has destroyed us. At the time when we got married, the woman was 18 years old. She announced that she would marry me. Then the relationship between them started. Her father threatened me with his life, he told me; I will kill you. I thank God and the police for saving my family. Those 4 angels saved me. I was in Montenegro when I learned of the serious event. The woman called me and said; "Ajet, I am taking you on the phone for the last time". It was before 1 hour before the event. She tried to commit suicide 3 months ago because of her family. I had been away at the camp for 2 weeks. She stayed with her friend, she threw him out on the street. After that phone call I called the police, I notified everyone. Even the neighbor. His own father is a fraud," he said.
