It is noticeable that a part are members or former members of the KLJ, KLP and KPK who want to be catapulted to the Constitutional Court...

The names of the candidates for the Constitutional Court are published. It is about the vacancy left by Elsa Toska, who resigned.

The latter resigned on September 19 of this year, for personal reasons. With her resignation, the Constitutional Court remained with 8 members, from the 9 it was before.

Her vacancy belonged to the Assembly and in the competition that was opened, 10 names applied, a large part of them quite well-known.

It is noticeable that a part are members or former members of the KLJ and KLP who want to be catapulted to the Constitutional Court.

We have Alfred Ballë, who was fired a while ago from the leadership of the KLP. We also have the former head of the KLJ Naureda Llagami, who left the leadership position a few days ago because her mandate ended. So is Nurihan Seiti, a member of the KLP. Among the names are members of the Independent Qualification Commission. Among them is Roland Ilia.

The names will now go to the KED, which will finally send 3 of them to the Assembly and then the vote will take place. 

Elsa Toska was voted by the Assembly as a member of the Constitutional Court, in November 2019. With a rich CV and after passing the vetting, Elsa Toska became one of the 9 members of the Constitutional Court. The 48-year-old received "OK" from the Parliament, where she was voted with 105 votes in favor and 2 against.
