The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, came out of the blue headquarters shortly after noon, this Saturday, to declare that the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, has fled, due to the confrontation he has with SPAK.
This attitude led to the immediate reaction of the mayor, Erion Veliaj. He stated that he had not escaped as Berisha claimed, but that he would return to Tirana in two days.
Analyst Frrok Çupi, invited to "Ora e Fundit" said that Berisha invents and constructs such news, an attitude he has shown in the past.
" We are used to Berisha giving bad news. News that he invents, builds and tells it like that. In this case, it is a psychological connection, because Berisha is obsessed with America, what America does not give him, behind the keyhole he looks at others with envy. Berisha is in a serious situation, it can't get any worse. Berisha is the most corrupt in the world ," he said.
He emphasized that he sees imbalances in the justice system, since Berisha is still free with all those charges, while others who do not attack the new justice system are taken and sent to prison.
Speaking about Veliaj's case, analyst Çupi said that the fact that you are under investigation does not mean that you are guilty.
" If the mayor of Tirana were not under investigation, something would be lacking, something would be missing, because mayors are also investigated abroad due to the nature of their work. The fact that he is under investigation means he may or may not be guilty. I see imbalances in the justice of SPAK and that of GJKKO ", he said.
