In the Committee on Civic Initiatives, the MP of the "Mundësia" Party, Erald Kapri, raised the issue of the residents of Rrjoll, who oppose the construction of a resort by the builder and publisher Bashkim Ulaj, claiming that their properties have been alienated.
Kapri addressed the head of SPAK, Klodian Braho, seeking clarification on why investigations have not been launched into this case, which he compared to the Zvërnec case.
In response, Braho avoided comments on specific cases, emphasizing that the launch of investigations is based on legal criteria and not on the requests of the parties.
Excerpts from the question-and-answer session at the Committee on Civic Initiatives:
Erald Kapri: I have a request from the residents of Rrjoll. Their file is like that of Zvërnec. Why haven't you started the investigations?
Klodian Braho: I do not want to dwell on specific cases. The competences of the institution are not determined by the desire or will of the complainants, but by the factual circumstances. If the designated persons do not agree, they have the right to follow the legal paths provided by the law.
