Journalist Denis Dyrnjaja spoke about the vote counting process, while preliminary results show a victory for the Socialist Party for a fourth term.
He stated that this result was expected since he was facing Berisha and parties that do not generate votes.

Dyrnjaja stated that if the Democratic Party loses, Berisha should step down from the leadership of the DP.
"The Democrats had two victories, the return of Berisha, the enthusiasm that Vrenozi created in Korça and it seemed that it was the victory of the DP, if I were Berisha today I would have one sentence for the Democrats: my time is up and he should leave. For me, if they want that party, they should resign without even taking the mandate of the deputy.
