Despite the debates and clashes, the Constitutional Court has today closed the race for the vacant seat of Hotla Zaçaj.
Today, the list of names that have shown interest in this post was made public, and what stands out is the fact that a large part are members of the new justice bodies, who are now left without a mandate. To be more precise, former members of veting and KLGJ and KLP have applied.
If we look at the list, Genta Tafa, Alma Faskaj and Lulzim Hamitaj are former commissioners of the Independent Qualification Commission. While Florjan Ballhysa and Irena Nino are former Public Commissioners, they are part of the vetting process.
Three former members are running from the ranks of the High Judicial Council and the High Prosecution Council. Specifically, the former president of the KLJ, Naureda Llagami, the former member of this institution, Alban Toro, and the former member of the KLP, Nurihan (Seiti) Meta, are competing.
It is interesting that most of the names above compete for the vacancy left by Elsa Toska, who resigned. They submitted their applications to the Assembly, as the nominating body.
Alfred Balla, who was recently dismissed from the leadership of the KLP, has shown interest in filling the vacancy of Mrs. Toska. We also have the former chairwoman of the KLGJ Naureda Llagami. There is also Nurihan Seiti, a former member of the KLP. Among the names are members of the Independent Qualification Commission. Among them is Roland Ilia.
Some time ago, the members of the Veting and the KLGJ and KLP have asked to be catapulted into the judicial system, but so far no one has taken their requests as a basis. / Pamphlet
