Former prosecutor Eugen Beçi has spoken about the serious tragedy that happened in Shkodër, where a mother committed suicide by jumping into the Buna river with her three children, due to violence and betrayal by her husband.
Eugen Beçi says that the dynamics must be realized to clarify the entire course of the event as it could have happened.
According to him, it should be determined who was thrown first and how this action was carried out, raising several alibis.
"In order to have a more complete approach to the motive, the way and the dynamics of carrying out the decision, we serve the prevention of this type of crime. Has the dynamics of the investigation been carried out to clarify precisely the manner of carrying out the actions, the dynamics, the event, the flow and the chronology of the carrying out of the action? Ultimately to determine who drowned first, then how it happened. Only the security cameras are not relevant here, for the final moment, I have the impression, this is where scientific police, expertise, forensics come into play to establish possible alibis which will be dropped during the investigation", Beçi told Top News.
Furthermore, former prosecutor Eugen Beçi has expressed his doubt that children cannot be consciously thrown to drown, implying that according to him there was a reason or a further push.
Beçi added that toxicological expertise will determine if there are other substances in the children's bodies that facilitated the commission of the criminal act.
"The first possible alibi, did he do it alone or not, did he do it only with the possibility that it would have a calming effect on the children and then throw it into the river, because the possible human reaction that the investigators and prosecutors are considering of the Prosecutor's Office of Shkodra, have the fact that a child cannot be consciously thrown to drown, so there was a reason, a further push. Toxicological examinations will determine if there are sedatives in the children's bodies, there are other substances that facilitated the commission of the criminal act. Was there another way of carrying out this criminal act by the mother or by another help? This is too early to say today, but it is very important to determine the dynamics of the investigation in order to prevent the event", said Beçi.
The former prosecutor also commented on the arrest of Erdgysi, the husband of the late Alma Arrazi.
"Causing murder through continuous violence, through continuous ill-treatment, through systematic behavior against the dignity of the person you have in custody or in your family, is always punishable, regardless of what the victim had in terms of mental health" , said Beçi.
