Scandal at the Security Academy - Students are poisoned again by SORI-AL food

30 students of the Security Academy are suspected of being poisoned again by food.
Yesterday evening at around 21:00, the students had symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, fever and headache. Some of them have received medical assistance.
This is the second time that students of the Academy have been poisoned in such a short period of time.
The first time, 52 students who had consumed food from the 'SORI-AL' catering were poisoned. From the samples taken for analysis, it turned out that the pasta was contaminated with Escherichia coli and staphylococcus bacteria.

52 students of the Security Academy ended up in the hospital with signs of poisoning on May 7, 2026. All had just consumed lunch at the academy premises. The administrator of the SORI-Al Company, Alma Tafani, was declared wanted by the police. The Blues arrested the chef Kujtim Ballgjini and Kristjana Plaka, a food technologist at the company that brought food to the Security Academy, while another food technologist at SORI-Al was released at large.

The National Food Authority conducted verifications at the entity that produces food in the kitchen premises of the “Skërnderbej” garrison near the Armed Forces Academy in Tirana. The products produced were distributed to contracting points. But there, the AKU says that it took samples of cheese, yogurt, eggs, and sausage for analysis at the ISUV laboratory. The AKU blocked 67.3 kg of products and 1350 eggs. For the lack of a functional and complete traceability system, a fine of 100 thousand lek was imposed on SORI-Al.

Thousands of citizens are asking him to resign - Edi Rama challenges them: There is no force that can stop me

Prime Minister Edi Rama has responded to thousands of citizens who have been demanding his resignation for 25 days, in non-stop protests that began on May 31, and have now become the country's main political event.
There is no force that can stop me, says Edi Rama, in a post on social networks, where he also published a message from a citizen, who expresses open support for the Prime Minister, while advising him not to resign.

The Prime Minister is facing the biggest wave of protests in his 13 years in power, where thousands of citizens have risen up in what is considered a "flamingo revolution" against the old political caste, as they express it, while the protest mottos are "Rama resign" and "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison."

But in his latest post on social media, Rama expresses his determination to continue his mission, that of Albania's membership in the EU, in 2030.
While expressing gratitude to all his supporters, Rama writes that he has no illusions about the corrections that must be made through persistent work.
"I assure everyone that there is no force that stops us, me, you, the Socialist Party and every citizen without a party who believes in me, in our mission towards Albania 2030 in the European Union, but also that there is nowhere within me any illusion about much that still requires correction through persistent work," writes Rama, who also publishes the message of the citizen who supports him.

Attacks on the US from the Tirana protest - Albanian Muslim Brotherhood in search of a caliphate
The almost month-long civic protests in Albania have sown a fantastic civic factor, have brought about a phenomenon that Albania has never seen, that of peaceful, civil protest and undoubtedly the determination to oppose the old political caste.

But in this protest, it was proven that an important factor, probably even a determinant in its support, mainly in financial and logistical terms, was the segment or front of political Islam, which has the strong hand of Turkey behind it.

This segment, at least until a few days ago, even though it had its people within the protest, even though it was influential in the organization, has not openly come out to make it clear that it is its fundamental node.
With the identification as the political head of Dritan Goxhaj, who has been profiled as an anti-Westerner, there was a movement, let's call it dizzying, at least for the public.
Which Edi Rama and the majority jumped on excitedly, as if they had discovered America, in an incorrect, but also politically dilettante manner.

From this move by Edi Rama, the people organizing the protest should feel good, and calmly pursue their agenda, even further advancing and correcting both the political objective and the representative group.

Sazan Project - Italian Senator Marco Lambordo casts doubt on military base

While protests against the investment project on the island of Sazan have been ongoing for weeks in Albania, support for the objections raised by citizens has also come from Italy.
Italian Senator Marco Lombardo has reacted publicly to the recent developments, stating that the protesters’ concerns are not only related to environmental protection, but also to much broader issues that affect national sovereignty and strategic balances in the region.
According to Lombardo, the debate should not be limited to the ecological aspect or the impact that the project may have on the natural reserves and biodiversity of the area. He argues that the way in which the project has been presented and promoted raises a number of questions that deserve a deeper analysis.
