Trump and his Organization are accused of fraud and that the businessman had increased the value of his 23 properties and assets in the amount of hundreds of millions or even billions of dollars.
The judge in the case, Arthur Engoron, ruled that Trump misrepresented his wealth. Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida was overstated by 2,300% in a financial statement, and Trump Tower in New York City was presented as three times its actual size, the ruling said.
This hearing focuses on 6 other lawsuits, including falsifying business records, insurance fraud, and conspiracy. At the first hearing, attorney Kevin Wallace said the defendants falsified records for personal gain. But Trump has repeatedly denied these accusations.
