Charlie Kirk, a conservative activist and ally of Donald Trump, was shot by a sniper in Utah, USA, while he was invited to an audience of at least 3,000 people. The perpetrator of the attack remains a mystery, while the search for his capture continues.

Authorities are closely examining videos and photos of a man running from the roof shortly after Kirk was shot.

Since his death was announced, influencers and big names in the MAGA (“Make America Great Again”) movement have called him a “martyr” who fell defending conservative and Christian values.

Kirk's supporters are certain that this is a "political assassination."

"Do you know how many transgender Americans have been perpetrators of mass shootings in the last 10 years?" a person from the audience is heard asking, with Charlie Kirk responding: "A lot."

Then the same man told the activist that there were only 5, and Kirk asked him: “Are we counting the criminal gangs or not?” Those were his last words.

President Donald Trump announced Kirk's death a short time later. "The great, even legendary Charlie Kirk has passed away. No one understood or knew the hearts of the young people of the United States better than Charlie," the president wrote on Truth Social.

The gunman, who is evading capture, was caught on camera running across the roof of a building after shooting 31-year-old Charlie Kirk.

The shots came from “a building approximately 200 meters away,” according to the university. The shooter shot Charlie Kirk from a location “inside” the campus, “possibly from the roof” of a building, local authorities said.
