The return of new variants of Covid-19 has also led to the return of some measures in neighboring countries. In Serbia, the Group of the Ministry of Health for the treatment of the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic presented the new recommendations.
Initially, the announcement envisages the mandatory wearing of masks in all hospitals and health institutions.
Also mandatory testing for Covid of all employees in health institutions, if they have symptoms of acute respiratory infection and their mandatory control and testing after the infection has been determined.
At the level of hospital institutions, patient testing is mandatory as a condition for hospitalization, testing is necessary for admission to hematology and oncology departments, as well as geriatrics departments and wards where patients with primary and severe immunodeficiencies are treated.
