On Friday a German woman attacked passengers on a bus to Siegen and injured six people.
The tragedy could have been much greater, but there were also three Albanian women on the bus who, according to the DE, have avoided adding to the tragedy.
In the vicinity of the city of Siegen, a woman of German origin attacked the people on the bus with a knife and injured six people, two of whom are still in danger of life.
According to the mayor, the tragedy could have been even greater, but three women stopped the aggressor and prevented the event from becoming larger.
One of the Albanian women told DË how they managed to stop the aggressor.
"We were on the bus having a great time, laughing and having fun with children... suddenly a scream was heard. I saw a woman stabbing others. He wanted to attack our children as well... AP grabbed the knife with his hand and together with AB, they caught and knocked down this woman. I grabbed the kids and pulled them out quickly… I went back to the bus and took a bag from the attacker's hand… we took the knife from her hand and laid her on the ground. One held her by the hands, the other by the legs... once that woman shouted "ich erbege mich" (I surrender)... she sat on the bus and we kept her there waiting until the police came... The bus was full of blood on all sides... it was horrible," she said.
