President Joe Biden has given the "OK" to Ukraine to use US long-range missiles to strike inside Russian territory.
According to what "Reuters" reports, Ukraine plans to carry out its first long-range strikes in the coming days, without revealing details due to operational security concerns.
The US move follows months of demands by Volodymyr Zelensky to allow Ukraine's military to use US weapons to strike Russian military targets far from its border.
The change comes after Russia deployed North Korean ground troops to supplement its own forces, a development that has alarmed Washington and Kiev. The first deep strikes are likely to be carried out using ATACMS missiles, which have a range of up to 190 miles, according to the sources.
