US President Donald Trump, through a post, called on his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin not to play with fire, stressing that if he were not in the US presidency, "very bad things would have happened in Russia."
"What Vladimir Putin doesn't understand is that if it weren't for me, a lot of really bad things would have already happened in Russia, and I mean really bad. He's playing with fire!" the US president wrote on Truth Social.
However, this is not the first time that the US president has commented negatively on Putin's stance. Donald Trump expressed his strong dissatisfaction with the Russian president's stance, commenting in a tweet: "Something is wrong with him, he has gone completely crazy. He is killing people unnecessarily."
Specifically, in his post, the American president, who has played a mediating role in talks on the Ukrainian issue, wrote: "I have always had a very good relationship with Vladimir Putin of Russia, but something happened to him. He has gone completely crazy."
"He's killing a lot of people unnecessarily, and I'm not just talking about soldiers. Missiles and drones are being fired at Ukrainian cities for no reason. I've always said he wants all of Ukraine, not just part of it, and maybe that will turn out to be right, but if he does, it will lead to the downfall of Russia," he commented.
