Andi Hoxhaj, a lecturer at King's College University, in London, was invited to a direct link for "Balkan Talks" on Euronews Albania, where he spoke about the war between Russia and Ukraine and the impact it brings to the whole world.
He said that yesterday the Ministry of Defense of Great Britain has confirmed that British shells have already been dropped on Russian territory. The expert said that in general public opinion in Great Britain is pro-Ukrainian.
Commenting on the Russian president's harsh rhetoric towards London, Hoxhaj said:
"Yesterday, after British missiles were fired on Russian territory, Vladimir Putin said at a press conference that this was a very wrong decision and he has to answer to Great Britain. What is interesting and has divided public opinion, yesterday he also changed the doctrine of the use of nuclear weapons.
The Russian doctrine was that they would only respond to one state. Now they have changed that they will strike even if a state does not have nuclear weapons, but is supported by a nuclear power. So now with the Russian doctrine, Russia can also attack Great Britain", he said.
