Venezuela's presidential plane flew from Caracas to the border with Brazil today, according to reports.
This comes after Donald Trump declared that Venezuelan airspace is "totally closed", after vowing that US ground strikes would begin "very soon".
According to the ADSB Exchange website, which monitors flight tracking data, the plane took off from Caracas and flew towards the border with the Brazilian state of Roraima before returning to the Venezuelan capital.
The plane was an Airbus A-319 operated by Conviasa, a Venezuelan state-owned airline, CNN Brazil reported.
The plane landed at Santa Elena de Uairén airport, about 250 km from the border with Brazil, before returning to Caracas.
The plane is described by the website as a "VIP government plane" and has been used by dictator Nicolás Maduro on official trips.

The plane flew just hours after Trump warned pilots not to enter Venezuelan airspace.
The warning comes amid rising tensions between Washington and Caracas, with fears growing of an all-out war against drug gangs in Venezuela.
A US official told the Washington Post that US military aircraft are reportedly conducting "almost constant" patrols in international airspace near Venezuela.
On Thursday, Trump vowed to escalate military action against suspected drug traffickers, saying the US military would begin ground operations in Venezuela "very soon."
He said: “You may have noticed that people don’t want to distribute by sea, and we will start to stop them from land as well.”
"The ground is easier, but this will start very soon," he said.
