Just as Prime Minister Edi Rama made an agreement in Vienna with "Raiffeisen Bank-Tirana"; 5 years ago, Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting in Moscow with the same object of cooperation with "Raiffeisen Bank-Moscow"...
The Prime Minister, accompanied by Albanian ministers and businessmen, presented strategic projects in Austria, amid accusations that the bank was used as a channel for the circulation of suspicious funds.
Prime Minister Edi Rama, accompanied by five ministers, the director of the Investment Corporation Elira Kokona and 50 builders known as oligarchs, held the "Albania - New Horizon" meeting in Vienna, Austria, with the objective of strategic investments in energy, infrastructure, tourism and technology, in cooperation with "Raiffeisen Bank".
The selection of "Raiffeisen Bank" as the address to channel Albania's state funds and assets towards private investments, through a bank known for anti-European activity, is a cooperation scheme for the legalization of money laundering in investments.
For 12 years, with the blessing of Edi Rama, the activity of "Raiffeisen Bank" in Albania has been structured and operates openly as a "laundry machine" for corruption and criminal money, withdrawn through Albanian companies, offshore ones, and traffickers who masquerade as businessmen and receive funds, collateral assets, and loans guaranteed by the government.
Edi Rama: Come invest in Albania without control, through "Raiffeisen Bank"
In his speech, Prime Minister Rama guaranteed the leaders of "Raiffeisen Bank" that Albanian and foreign partner companies of the government will circulate billions of investments through this bank, with a closed cycle and control only by institutions subordinate to the Prime Minister.
This means that "Raiffeisen Bank" in Albania will have complete freedom of action and immunity for financial operations: the collection of illegal money from crime and corruption, their transfer and lending to companies linked to the government or in partnership with ministers.
At this meeting in Vienna, Rama called on foreign companies to invest and buy assets in Albania through the circulation of money at “Raiffeisen Bank”, guaranteeing them that no checks will be required on the source of funds. Five years ago, when asked by the media about the source of financing for towers, hotels and resorts, Rama said openly: “I have given and will continue to give building permits and I do not want to know what source their financing is.”
Vladimir Putin also meets with Raiffeisen Bank in Moscow
The object of the meeting in Vienna between the Albanian government and oligarchy with "Raiffeisen Bank" had the same goal and activity scheme as the one that "Raiffeisen Bank" has pursued in Russia, circulating and laundering billions of euros of oligarchs linked to Putin, even financing the aggression in Ukraine.
Just like Edi Rama in Vienna with "Raiffeisen Bank Tirana", Russian President Vladimir Putin also held a meeting in Moscow, five years ago, with "Raiffeisen Bank - Moscow", with the same object of cooperation, while this bank has been blacklisted by the US Department of State.
In Albania, this scheme has been implemented through the Strategic Investment Committee. After the agreement in Austria, it will be formalized through Raiffeisen Bank and the Investment Corporation, whose director is Rama's confidant, Elira Kokona./ Pamphlet
