Just as Erdogan arrested the mayor of Istanbul, Rama "eliminated" Veliaj and put his hands in the Municipality of Tirana...
Coincidence or not, Edi Rama and Recep Tayyip Erdogan simultaneously hit out at the heads of the largest municipalities in Albania and Turkey.
Edi Rama, after sending Erion Veliaj to prison, decided to take control of the Municipality of Tirana with typical Erdoganist methods. At the same time, his Turkish brother, put the mayor of Istanbul, Ekrem Imamoglu, in handcuffs, preventing him from running in the presidential elections. In short, both Rama and Erdogan "eliminated" those who threatened their seats.
Erion Veliaj has been considered for years as the person who could take over as the leader of the SP. While Imamoglu was seen as the only person who could defeat Erogan in the elections. He defeated him twice in the race for the Mayor of Istanbul.
Returning to our reality, what happened in Tirana Municipality is nothing more than an indication that Edi Rama was afraid of Erion Veliaj (and continues to be).
The latter sent him greetings that even behind bars he still has strength. The dismissal of Anuela Ristani from the mayorship was a clear indication that the war had begun. The tears that Rama shed when Veliaj was arrested turned out to be crocodile tears. From that day on, he put into practice his ominous plan to take control of the Municipality of Tirana, fearing that Lali's loyalists would sabotage the elections.
The convenient entrances and exits in the municipality also led to the appointment of Anuela Ristani as acting mayor. So it turned out that Veliaj had always had Rama's man at his feet and it took his overthrow to appoint him to office.
Veliaj realized that he was being used all these days and everyone abandoned him. For this reason, he decided to act by removing Anuela Ristan and appointing Sara Goxhaj. Rama urgently went to the municipality and openly threatened all the mayor's loyalists, while it is not surprising that he also threatened Veliaj himself.
The municipality collapsed, since legally the mayor was Sara Goxhaj, since the law recognizes a signature and a seal. This drove Rama crazy and Veliaj decided to take a step back, not creating conflict at a time when we are just before the elections.
But Rama's revenge is the same as Erdogan's. Before the seal and signature on Ristan's dismissal had dried, the latter, on orders from Babloku, dismissed two of Veliaj's most trusted people, Sara Goxhaj and the General Secretary, Alban Dokushi. Their dismissal was a pure "coup", but also an indication that Ristan is nothing more than Rama's mannequin in the Municipality.
In addition, Rama has threatened with dismissals and demotions all those who side with Veliaj. So just like Erdogan. Evil mouths say that Rama is so fond of Erdogan that the possibility of turning the country into a Presidential Republic and being Ali himself and Kadi himself is not excluded.
But the question that arises is: Has Rama done his calculations well? Does Babloku really think that he silenced Veliaj? What about the MPs who were thrown out of the closed lists, what will they do after the elections? The fuse has been lit, we will wait and see. / Pamphlet
