Sali Berisha does not hold back.
Sali Berisha is very relaxed. If you take a look at his interview with Fevziu's "Opinion", it seemed like he had achieved his life's dream. He was humorous, he said without flinching nonsense like "The DP list with Flamur, Vokshi, Kelevis, Paloka, etc., is the best in 35 years of the DP", or he made jokes like we will overthrow Edi Rama and form a technical government.
It's not easy to have this level of humor after a crushing defeat like that of May 11. Even when you're victorious, you feel a little sorry for the DP and you hold back on your dark humor towards it.
Sali Berisha does not hold back.
He is completely calm and feels fulfilled by what has happened. And in fact he has fulfilled his objective. His goal was to defeat every corner within the DP that does not accept his authority and to be calm as a loser of power, but a winner of the opposition.
His only tense day after the election was Monday, when he repeated that he would only leave when God takes him and was nervous that someone would oppose him.
Not only did they not oppose it, but now they are lining up who can argue better and stronger that Berisha should not leave and that without him the DP is dead.
This is the only thing Berisha needs. He doesn't care about the fate of the DP, nor the fate of the Democrats 12 years down the road, nor who from the DP has received more or fewer votes. He needs to stay calm, say that we need Berisha and he should continue the battle with justice by threatening them in the name of the DP.
This is the reason that has relaxed him in stark contrast to the blackened faces of the DP and their nervousness. Everyone is nervous: how will they fight this battle for a technical government, how will they not recognize the elections but will become MPs, how will they overthrow Edi Rama, how will they pay LaCivita, how will they remove the "non grata" of Berisha, etc., while he is completely calm. He has gotten what he wanted, of course leaving everyone in the streets, in line for one behind him. So there is reason to feel that he has won... over the DP.
