This is what the neighbors of the 50-year-old man, who was allegedly killed by his daughter, Hygerta Meta, say. Neighbors of the Meta family have told the media that the 50-year-old married his eldest daughter with difficulty years ago, in Derven i Kruja.
According to them, Meta was very authoritarian and did not want anyone in the family to oppose him. As it seems, he also had this plan for his little daughter, Hygerta, who was in her first year studying Economics and Business at the University of Tirana.
He had wanted to betroth his daughter to a boy from their village of Shënvlash, who was an immigrant to Italy.
But it seems that he did not find consensus in his daughter, who objected. She even went so far as to kill her father with his illegal pistol, then cover up the crime and bury his body in the yard of the apartment.
