Nuredin Dumani, the man who has agreed to show some of the crimes committed in Albania, concluding death contracts with members of criminal groups in the country, has revealed new details in the meetings he held in 2020 with Florenc Çapjan and Bledar Muça.
In the new evidence he gave before SPAK prosecutors, the accused reconfirmed his first position, showing that his relationship with Florenc Çapjan was made by Eljo Bitri, already arrested in the Netherlands on account of SPAK.
According to the repentant, the Çapjas asked him for a meeting as they suspected that Dumani had participated in the shooting against them. But in fact, according to him, their real goal was to recruit and use him against payment for the attack on Sokol Sanxhaktar and Suel Çela's men.
The re-interrogation of Duman was carried out due to the administration of a series of new conversations of the "SKY" application, where, as he shows, all the communications about murder work with Florenc Çapjan, he carried out on the "Sky" encrypted phone.
In this period, SPAK is verifying Duman's statements with the conversations on "SKY" that he conducted with various exponents in Elbasan, Shkodër, Durrës, Tirana, Fier, etc.
In his new testimony, Dumani has shown that apart from the agreement for 200,000 euros that he made with Florenc Çapjan, to kill Sokol Sanxhaktari, the son-in-law of Qazim Sejdini, Florenci asked him for two other criminal jobs.
The killing of two brothers in Elbasan and the burning of a curtain warehouse located in the area of Fushë-Mbret. The burning of the warehouse was done against a value of 5 thousand euros.
Dumani says that they carried out the burning of the warehouse in 2020 together with Eljo Bitri and Ervis Çausholli alias "Vis Korçari". The latter was the driver of a rented car, while Bitri and Dumani were the arsonists.
Together, they threw 5 liters of gasoline, the amount of which caught fire and threatened to burn Eljo Bitrin himself.
The reason for the burning of this business was that Çapjat had imposed a financial fine, but the two owner brothers had refused to pay, so they had to be punished with the destruction of the business.
"...I did this work, to create trust in Çapjat, with the idea that I am ready to work with you..." - said the repentant.
In the testimony provided by "Ora Neës", the repentant Nuredin Dumani says that:
"...I want to clarify that, in 2020, by order of Florenc Çapjas, I, together with "Vis Korçari" and Eljo Bitri, burned a warehouse of curtains. The people who owned this warehouse were two brothers who were dealing in textiles. To these people Çapjat, they fined you, they had not paid the fine and they gave us 5 thousand Euros for burning the warehouse...".
Further, Nuredin Dumani explained to SPAK prosecutors that as they approached the area where the curtain warehouse was located, they covered the two license plates of the car with newspaper, in order not to be identified by the cameras of the area or any shavings.
"...the three of us together, me, Eljo and Visi, went that night to the place where the warehouse was somewhere near the Fushë-Mreti area, but I remember well since it was also night around 10:00 or 11:00 p.m. The place I already knew where it was. On the night of the incident, Visi took a 2007-2008 Mercedes Benz, C Class, ash color, which he told me he had rented. We reached the place where the textile warehouse was located. We also had a 5 kg canister of gasoline with us. Also, we had a "Glock" pistol that Vis was carrying. Before going to the place where the warehouse was, we covered the license plates of the car with newspaper, leaving only the first and last letter of the license plate uncovered, since the newspaper did not cover it...".
"...Visi sent us to the warehouse and waited for us with the car running. The place where the warehouse was located was inside a large space surrounded by a courtyard, inside of which there were, as I remember, 3 or 4 warehouses. At the entrance to the gate on the right side was the guard's cabin. Inside, in addition to the warehouses, there were also goods vehicles such as trucks and vans. The warehouse that we were aiming to burn was at the end of this rectangular space built with walls and covered with concrete slabs (they were old warehouses from Enver's time). When we went near the warehouse, we had no way to get inside because there were cameras and an alarm system. After we found where the warehouse was, Eljo wanted to open the door but the door made noise. Then you told Eljo to throw the gasoline from the window of the warehouse. We pushed the window and it opened as it was not locked from the inside. Eljo poured all the gasoline through the window, but the wall from the inside down to the bottom of the floor had a crack and the gasoline had also come out where we were under our feet..." - says Dumani.
The latter, in an attempt to set the gasoline on fire, Eljo Bitri, caught fire in his legs. Dumani did their turning off, as the penitent says.
"...after Eljo ignited the gasoline, he himself caught fire, as the gasoline had flowed from the inside out under his feet. Then I jumped directly and put out the fire that Eljo had from his legs and we both ran away. Vis was waiting for us outside with a car. Then the three of us ran away and Eljo sent me to Durrës with his "Mercedes Benz CLS" car, since I didn't have a driver's license. This work was done to create trust in Çapjat, with the idea that I am ready to work with you...".
